Marisa Peer made me laugh and made me cry. I was so touched by her talks about how we are enough, about Diana, Marilyn Monroe and Amy Whinehouse. These magnificent women were convinced they were not worthy of love. She is such an amazing and generous soul. I highly recommend the videos “The Biggest Disease Affecting Humanity: “I’m Not Enough” by Marisa Peer” and “How To Teach Your Mind That Everything Is Available To You | Marisa Peer“.
Marisa Peer explains that we create beliefs within our brain when we are children, but without updating them afterwards. For instance, a little girl watching her mother commit suicide will think she is not lovable, otherwise her mum would not have left her by killing herself.
Marisa Peer demonstrates that we must trick our brain by introducing positive thoughts and new habits that serve us. Thus, we can repeat all day long that we are worthy of love, even if we are convinced it is not the case (at the beginning).
She also explains that we become old when we stop growing. In my humble opinion, a way of always growing is always learning new ideas and skills.
A huge thank you for an extraordinary lady.
