February was a magnificent month. I remember a yoga retreat I attended at that same time of the year over six years ago. It was held in a beautiful gigantic house in Tunisia.
The garden was extraordinary, with a frog pond, stone benches, soft grass with yellow fresh flowers and a magnificent architecture, by the sea.
I felt so good in such a peaceful place, full of blooming flowers of every color. Today I live in Tunisia and for the first time of my adult life, I am in a house with a garden. I feel so grateful.
The secret of my successes these past years lies in the true rejoicing I feel whenever I see someone having what I desire. I always feel it means that I can have it too, it is only a question of time.
I admired the woman who owned the house and lent it to my yoga teacher for the retreat. I felt so happy she could enjoy this house several times a year.
I teach this to my children. I want them to understand how great it is when someone is successful because it means it is possible and available to them as well.
As regard to work, I reduced my load a bit on Preply in order to remain a good enthusiastic French teacher. I also want to carry on my daily work on clairesamuel.com.
As regard to love, I basked under the warmth of love in its various forms this month. The more I love the people dear to my heart, the better I feel. I want all of them to be happy, to manifest their dreams and be protected from pain.
The author of High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way, Brendon Burchard, has interesting ideas about love. He says that the most important question at the end of our life is going to be “Have I loved enough?” not Have I earned enough money or Have I worked enough. So smart.
Justine from Blog d’une partageuse asks us the following question of the month: “What is the project that moves me the most at the moment?”
My project is to build my life in a very tangible way, by getting stable streams of income so I can live from what I earn and not from savings as this is terribly worrying. I want to keep doing what I love because it feels like effortless work. I love replying to questions during the live streams. I aim at giving as much value as I can my friend my sister.
The photo of the month is a picture from Istanbul!
