I was born in the country of cheese and wine: France.
However, I stopped eating dairy more than a decade ago. And I became 90% raw vegan four years ago!
So let’s be creative by making a French nondairy cheese.
The cheese recipe is simple: soaked sunflower seeds at Raw Living), water, fresh turmeric and ginger, tamari or sea salt, garlic and/or a bit of onion, apple cider vinegar or lemon and chives if you have them. You can also add Irish moss or sea moss for extra creamy texture!
It was not an easy road at times. The reason I was able to do it? Support! Support from other women and information from trustful sources such as La Leche League.
Were you breastfed as a baby my friend my sister? Did you breastfeed? What helped you? No judgements nor guilt here. My wish is for women to empower other women by sharing their personal stories. Bless you my friend my sister.
French philosopher Montaigne wrote: “When I dance, I dance” and so on. Thich Nhat Hanh has a similar message and of course Eckhart Tolle is the author of the book The power of now. So I guess we could say being in the present moment rather than the past or the future is both timeless and difficult because we always need the reminder my friend my sister!
Also, I love this drawing by Charlie Mackesy, so cute and right to the point for today!
On the other hand, some people say that during a fast, an enema is going to move the focus of the body towards the intestines, while it was taking care of another area for instance. See the French naturopath Fabien Moine about why he does not recommend enemas during a fast (in French).
So… enemas or not?
I discovered enemas and colonics over ten years ago and they changed my life. Now I found a middle ground: I do enemas on an empty stomach on the days I eat and on the one day of the week when I fast, I just rest. And you my friend my sister?
