Fabienne creates beautiful non toxic candles, with fragrances from Grasse in the South of France, linocuts, bracelets with crystals and soon fabrics.

2. Your journey as an artist and a creative person to inspire women to express themselves with their unique talent

It took Fabienne ten years to eventually be able to live from her creative work. The insight for us my friend my sister is: continue to move forward, nourish your creativity, even if for a few years you have to work at a place just to pay the bills.
Furthermore, Fabienne generously shared pragmatic advice for women who want to start a business. She used the smallest legal structure available in France to be an independent worker. She highly recommends that you ask questions, educate yourself and never let yourself get overwhelmed by the legal and administrative tasks required when you start a company. I could not resist mentioning the great book Everything is figureoutable by Marie Forleo here.

3. Why do you give back 20% of your profits to charity?

Fabienne gives back 20% of her profits to a charity dedicated to helping women facing domestic violence. I love how it shows we do not have to wait until we are a big company before giving back. It is possible to set up a way of giving back from the start my friend my sister. What I do is that I offer private sessions with me at a very discounted price for every session booked at the regular price, so that women in need can also benefit from a private conversation with me.

4. How can we help you to continue to create after lock down is over?

Fabienne has decided to stop shipping her orders during lockdown to avoid adding an extra burden to the mail services employees. However you can still place your orders and they will be shipped after quarantine. Of course she invites everybody to show support at this time for all local business, small companies, artists, creative persons and mothers running their own business.

Furthermore, it is possible to show support without even purchasing something, just by sharing the content entrepreneurs post on their website.

Today more than ever we are invited to support each other, so please pay a visit to Fabienne’s beautiful store Le Lunarium and support all the women who made this big jump when starting to work for themselves. Thank you my friend my sister.
