We wanted to have this interview for such a long time Alizé and I, and we are finally doing it! Yes! I am thrilled to welcome my friend Alizé today.
I really feel what she has to say is so important, especially nowadays. Yes we are going to talk about well-being, health and feeling good in our body. Alizé is a generous woman who used her experience to transform the life of others. She’s the owner of Journey Juice, a UK company who delivers fresh juices to people at home.
Today I want to focus on Alizé and her journey to show you the amazing woman behind an amazing company.
How did you discover juicing? How did it change your life?
Alizé was working in the music industry and she was generally super stressed. The toxic overload on her body brought all kinds of nasty consequences like depression. By doing juice fasts, she was able to totally clear her body. Drinking only juices removed the body’s need to extract the pulp of fresh fruits and vegetables, giving it a much needed rest, while boosting its nutrients intake. Her skin became super glowy after the second juice cleanse, the dark circles under her eyes disappeared and her energy levels skyrocketed.
What a good juice really is: from a shelf at the supermarket or from an extractor?
The issue with products that can last a few days on a shelf or in a fridge at the store is that they are heated, thus you lose precious nutrients. On the opposite, the fresh juices from Journey Juice are cold pressed using the very best ingredients.
Consequently, when you drink quality juices, you won’t need a ton of supplements that can pollute your liver.
Can you become anorexic from juicing?
Some overweight people are actually starving because the food they consume is empty in nutrition. No vitamins, no enzymes, no minerals. On the opposite, your body will be fully nourished on a juice fast. You can lose extra pounds but never become anorexic. The nutritive levels of a juice are high and concentrated. There’s more nutrition on a juice fast than on a day to day diet.
Moreover, you’ll be able to consume more fruits and veggies if you drink them in a juice. Therefore, you’ll get more energy.
How can juicing help with weight loss?
Weight loss is not an issue that I talk about much but I feel so many women are looking to lose weight to feel better.
How can juicing help with getting rid of the weight without getting it back? For me it’s so important to think about the long run here. Alizé said that the good thing about juicing is that you won’t feel deprived nor hungry. If you need to, the body will gently shed pounds while getting all the nutrients she needs. You won’t lose more than you need to lose.
What is a master cleanse?
A master cleanse with Journey Juice is a holistic whole body cleanse. You start the day with bentonite clay and psyllium to clear the colon. You have five delicious juices a day and a mullein tea three times a day to clear out all the mucus from the body. Lastly, epsom salts are used in the bath to help the skin eliminate all the toxins.
How long can I keep a juice in the fridge?
You can keep a cold pressed juice for 5 days in the fridge but it’s best to freeze the juices you are going to drink in three days.
Can I mix fruits and veggies in my juice?
Yes of course, juices are not only vegetables. However, for candida sensitive people, a great alkaline cleanse is offered instead with more veggies.
When is the best time to do a juice cleanse?
It’s recommended to do a juice cleanse every season. Keep in mind that drinking juice is not a chore but a healthy habit that adds to our life.
Any practical tips when drinking juices?
Alizé said that it was super important to chew your juice for the enzymes my friend my sister.
Can I give juices to my children as well?
Of course! Children deserve the healthier stuff possible. You can give superhero names to the juices like Incredible hulk and Spiderman. You can also pour them into empty bottles of supermarket juices.
Final thought about juicing?
Alizé said that “you can’t put a price on health” and I couldn’t agree more my friend my sister. A big thank you to my friend Alizé for sharing her wisdom with us all today.
