I love tackling the root cause of any issue I encounter. As regard to weight gain, I have the feeling that I got heavier as I had to deal with too many things at the same time and by myself.

When I was a teenager, I gained a massive amount of weight because I felt isolated, rejected and simply hated by other girls. Becoming fat was a protection.

Once we have identified the reason we gained the weight, we can heal ourselves. Only after this first necessary step can we tackle the physical.

I feel we really need to feel lighter in our mind and heart before our body can also become lighter my friend my sister.

I spent my twenties working and never sleeping. It never occurred to me how much damage I was doing to my body by not sleeping. When I was pregnant, I was working extra hours to pay an independent midwife for my daughter. I still remember the rides home in these famous London black cabs. I was always asking the cab drivers to be careful with the bumps on the roads because I did not want the baby in my belly to be hurt.

Afterwards when I got back to college as a single working mother, I suffered from severe insomnia because I had so much pressure on my shoulders.

Today I do my best to recover from it, but it hinders my social life. I cannot go out at night. I cannot enjoy it because I am tired.

Lastly, I recently discovered how lack of sleep is linked to weight gain. So the lesson is clear my friend my sister: sleep well so you can lose the weight you don’t need.

Getting rid of the weight is not enough my friend my sister. We also need to tone our body. Trampoline is so much fun!

I do rebounding 5 minutes a day while listening to Beyoncé at full volume and I love it so much. I do rebounding early in the morning because I want to move my lymph after the night, so the toxins get flushed out of my body.

Rebounding is also good for blood circulation. Try it only 5 minutes a day. I discovered it recently and it is a game changer in body care.
