Spirulina is very high in protein and B vitamins.

Spirulina is also a superfood thanks to its great iron content. Therefore, spirulina is such a great help during menstruation.

Lastly, spirulina is the superfood when you work out my friend my sister. This green powder will help to develop muscles, improve endurance and recovery.

My recipe for a spirulina smoothie is: spirulina powder from Raw Living, raw cacao, mangoes, bananas, grapefruit and ginger (optional).

I blended a mix of plant proteins made from buckwheat, carob, rice protein, tigernuts, flax seeds with bananas, pineapple, avocado, pear and ginger. Of course a little raw cocoa on top did complement this delight perfectly.
